WWF Royal Rumble is a wrestling game based on the rules and featuring characters from the World Wrestling Federation. There are two modes in the game, Exhibition and Royal Rumble. In the Exhibition mode, the player selects a main wrestler and a partner who participate in a series of singles matches. The partner can be controlled indirectly by the player, who assigns commands to him. Partner moves must be recharged before they can be used again. The Royal Rumble mode involves one multi-wrestler match. Up to nine wrestlers can be seen on the screen at the same time. The player's goal is to eliminate a set number of opponents within a time limit. There are thirty WWF superstars available in this mode.

Win the Royal Rumble on any difficulty setting. 

Wrestle as Vince McMahon

Win all ten matches in exhibition mode on any difficulty setting. 

Alternate costumes 
At the character selection screen, hold Start + A while selecting a wrestler. 

Alternate backgrounds 
Enter the ranking screen and choose any section. Then, return to the main menu to see a 
different background. Repeat this to see more backgrounds. 

Infinite double team moves 
Knock out the ref by hitting him with a weapon twice. If done correctly, a message 
stating "The Referee Is Knocked Out" will appear. "Double Team" will now light up in 
different colors. You can now perform double teams moves as many times as desired. 

Avoid attacks

Hold Block and repeatedly press the D-pad in all directions. Your wrestler will dodge 
every time your opponent punches or grapples, and an opening will eventually appear. 

Stay in Royal Rumble longer 
Rotate the D-pad when your wrestler is holding on to the ropes to stay in Rumble longer.
