Destrega is a fighting game with a twist; instead of only fighting hand-to-hand as in traditional fighters, you can roam around the battlefield and fire magical projectiles from afar. The basic forms of attacks include the following: three levels of magic, body blows (close-range combat) and charge dashes. The object of the game is to either reduce your opponent's life meter to zero or have more life when time runs out. Play then continues for as many rounds as it takes to beat your opponent (you can set the number of rounds in the option screen). Each character differs in his or her power, speed, homing (how well magic targets the opponent), and running, dashing and jumping abilities. Game modes include One-Player Battle, Story, Versus, Team Battle, Time Attack, Endurance and Practice. Records for the different modes can be saved using one block of memory card space. |
