Cheats & Codes: - Dead Space

Dead Space from EA is sure to please any action-adventure gamer looking for a bloody battle against deadly aliens. Dead Space for PlayStation 3 begins when a massive mining ship, the USG Ishimura, comes in contact with a mysterious alien artifact and suddenly loses its communications with Earth. Engineer Isaac Clarke is sent to repair the Ishimura's communications, but arrives to find a floating vessel that has become a complete bloodbath. The crew is mutilated and infected with an ancient alien scourge. Clarke's repair mission is transformed to one of survival as he fights to save himself and return the artifact to the planet at any cost.

Full Contact (Bronze): Kill 20 enemies with the Contact Beam. 
A Cut Above (Bronze): Kill 20 enemies with the Ripper. 
Tool Time (Bronze): Kill 20 enemies with the Plasma Cutter. 
Pusher (Bronze): Kill 20 enemies with the Force Gun. 
Live with the Hot Ones (Bronze): Kill 20 enemies with the Flamethrower. 
Autofire (Bronze): Kill 20 enemies with the Pulse Rifle. 
Eviscerator (Bronze): Kill 20 enemies with the Line Gun. 
There's Always Peng (Bronze): Find the Peng Treasure. 
Survivor (Silver): Beat the game on any difficulty setting. 
Legend Teller (Silver): Collect all Logs. 
Full Arsenal (Silver): Own every Weapon in the game. 
Butcher (Silver): Dismember 500 Limbs. 
Epic Tier 3 Engineer (Gold): Complete the game on the hardest difficulty 
setting. 
One Gun (Gold): Beat the game using only the Plasma Cutter. 
Maxed Out (Gold): Upgrade all weapons and equipment. 
Platinum (Platinum): Unlock all other trophies to unlock this trophy


Completion bonuses:

Successfully complete the game under the normal difficulty setting 
to unlock the following. 

-Ten Power Nodes 
-50,000 credits 
-The back story log entries 
-Impossible mode 
-Level 6 suit schematic 


Find the Peng and a note on Impossible mode:

Peng is a treasure found in the Hangar in between the two sidewalks. As you 
leave the Kellion for the first time, look over the railing to your LEFT. 
There is a small statue lying on the ground. You need KINESIS to get it, so
you can't grab it until Chapter 11. IMPOSSIBLE MODE Beat the game on any 
difficulty, save your game, and start a new game. Choose IMPOSSIBLE MODE,
then play until you save your game at a kiosk (in a new slot if you like).
The important thing to note is that impossible mode will not remain unlocked 
if you do not save a game that is playing in impossible mode. 

Unlockable        How to Unlock

10 power nodes  - Beat the game on any difficulty level
50,000 credits  - Beat the game on any difficulty level
Backstory logs  - Beat the game on any difficulty level
Military suit   - Beat the game on any difficulty level


More Oxygen in Uncompressed Areas:

While Paused, press Square, Square, Triangle, Triangle, Triangle.


Defeating the Hunter:

The Hunter is a regenerating Necromorph that cannot be killed. The first time you
encounter him it is difficult, and you just have to run. It is best to shoot off 
his legs because he does not regenerate them immediately. He is much slower without
legs. Then, freeze him, and he will be taken away. When you face him again in a 
later chapter, use the same strategy, then fry him with the rocket engines, and
collect the Power Node he drops.


Defeating the Leviathan:

First, take out the tentacles. When the center opens, aim for the orange ball. Take
the explosive canisters or the Lathan pod, and launch them in the center.
