Cheats & Codes: - Killer Instinct

Don't wait in endless arcade lines to play--Killer Instinct comes to Super NES with action, graphics and sound that annihilates all other combat games! Fulgore, Jago, B.Orchid, Spinal and all your favorite warriors contend in the Ultratech KI Tournament. Each combatant engages in the KI Combo Theory of connected moves and finishing tactics to destroy their opponents. With incredible displays of eyelasers, ice lancers, wind kicks, and laser blades these fearless fighters prove their battle prowess. But remember, if you lose, it's hero to zero!

Easy Combo Breakers 

During the vs. screen, press Down and Start at the same time.

Fast Speed 

Hold Right + L + X + Y on the Vs. Screen (Both controllers if 2-Players)

Faster Speed 

Hold Right + R + A + B on the Vs. Screen (Both controllers if 2-Players)

Fastest Speed 

Hold Left + L + X + Y on the Vs. Screen (Both controllers if 2-Players)

Get Alternate Costumes 

When selecting a character press: up or down.

No Combo Breaker 

Hold left then press b,a,b,a on the vs screen

Play as Eyedol 

Select Cinder. At the VS screen, hold right and press L, R, X, B, Y, A.

Select Random Characters 

When you are selecting characters hold Up and press Start.

Slow Speed 

Hold Left + R + A + B on the Vs. Screen (Both controllers if 2-Players).

Stage Select / Music Select

On the character select screen, Hold U or D with the specific buttons as shown below. 
The button you press will also choose your character, so be sure the fighter you 
want is highlighted when you do the code. In two player mode, The first person to 
pick their character gets to choose the stage. The second player gets to pick the music 
according to the same button combinations used for the stage select:

Come back to life

In VS mode, when you run out of life and your opponent has the opportunity to finish 
you off, start hitting random buttons like crazy. There is no specific sequence. 
If you manage to hit the buttons fast enough before your opponent hits you again, 
you will come back to life with only a sliver of health, but your attack power will 
be enhanced greatly. If you get hit again, it's over.

Practice Against Eyedol

Fight your way up to Eyedol, then let him kill you. At the game-over screen, let the 
timer run down and then go to "Practice", pick your character, then you'll be practicing 
against Eyedol.

This move will give your enemy the point, by stabbing him in the stomach with 
your sword.

Even better, this results in a car crashing on top of your opponent!

Danger Move #1: Back, Toward, Toward, MP
Chances are that enemy is suffering from some back pain; why not fix it by 
breaking his spine with this move!

Danger Move #2: Down, Down-Toward, Toward, FK
Or, you can decide to hurl your beaten foe against the screen. SPLAT!

Humiliation: Down, Down, QP

B. Orchid


Danger Move #1: Down, Toward, Back, QP
This move turns your opponent into a frog; squish it with a Fierce Kick.

Danger Move #2: Back, Back, Toward, Toward, QP
Wow. This will make your opponent die happy. Lets just say that Orchid shows 
some, em, things to the opponent, apparently resulting in a fatal heart 
attack.

Humiliation: Toward, Down-Toward, Down, Down-Back, Back, FP

Chief Thunder


Danger Move #1: Down, Down-Toward, Toward, FP
Using this move, Thunder summons some lightning to give a headache that no 
aspirin will fix.

Danger Move #2: Down, Down-Back, Back, FK

Humiliation: Down, Down, Toward, QK

Fulgore


Danger Move #1: Down, Down-Toward, Toward, FK
Fulgore removes his mask, and blasts away an opponent.

Danger Move #2: Down, Down-Back, Back, FP
For this move, Fulgore fries his enemy with a laser.

Humiliation: Back, Down-Back, Down, Down-Towards, Towards, MK

Riptor


Danger Move #1: Back, Down-Back, Down, Down-Towards, Towards, MP
Riptor has probably gotten hungry, so why not chow down on your opponents 
bloody corpse! Num-Nums!

Danger Move #2: Back, Back, MK
Use this to reduce your enemy, thanks to acidic projectiles.

Danger Move #3: Towards, Towards, Back, FK
This whacks your enemy with your tail.

Humiliation: Down, Toward, Toward, FP

Sabrewulf


Danger Move #1: Back, Back, MK
This move is used at close quarters, and lets you sharpen your claws on your 
opponent.

Danger Move #2: Back, Toward, Toward, MP
This move lets you toss the enemy into the TV screen.

Spinal


Danger Move #1: Back, Back, Back, MK
Summon up lightning, and reduce your enemy to ashes.

Danger Move #2: Back, Back, Towards, QK
A long spike appears from your shield, and turns your enemy into shish kabob.

This move lets you use your morphing abilities to liquefy your enemy.

This move injects the opponent with something that turns him to ice.

This melts your opponent into a pool of flames.

This move turns your enemy into ashes.

This is fast, powerful, and predictable.

Foot Stomp: Back, MP
This attack gives you an energy boost and powers up some attacks; it will 
make your head charge extra fast or let you fire 3 fireballs at once.

Play as Eyedol


Choose Cinder on the Player Select Screen. When the Vs. 
screen appears (with the close up of each character's 
face), while holding Right on the control pad, quickly 
press Quick Punch, Quick Kick, Fierce Punch, Medium Kick, 
Medium Punch, then Fierce Kick. 

When the Vs. screen appears (with the close up of each 
character's face), while holding Right on the control 
pad, quickly press L, R, X, B, Y, A.

Stage and Music Select

The first player to choose their character can choose the 
stage. The second player to choose, can choose the music. 
All codes are done while selecting your character.

Air Stage Select

While on the 2-Player character select screen, while each 
player is holding Down on the Control Pad, press the Medium 
Kick Button when selecting their preferred character. Both 
player must do this code for it to work!
 
Random Player Select

On the Player Select Screen, press Up and Start.
 
Easy Combo Breaker

When the Vs. Screen appears (with a close up of each 
character's face), press Down and Start.

Speed Up/Fast Mode/Slow Down
Speed Up/Fast Mode 
When the Vs. Screen appears (with a close up of each 
character's face), hold left and all 3 punch buttons 
at the same time. 

Note: It can be difficult to notice the difference in 
speed, but there is one! 

Slow Down 

When the Vs. Screen appears (with a close up of each 
character's face), hold left and all 3 kick buttons at 
the same time.
 
Select Opponent in Practice Mode

First, select the Practice mode with controller 2. Then 
choose a fighter and press Start twice to return to the 
title screen. Now select Practice mode with controller 
1 and start a practice session as you normally would.
