Cheats & Codes: - Mario Kart Wii

Mario and friends once again jump into the seat of their go-kart machines for the first Wii installment of this popular franchise. New features this year are an online racing mode, new motorbike vehicle types, a special balancing system for new and veteran players, and (in its initial release) a special Mario Kart wheel packaged with the game.

Bonus Cups:
 
Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding Cup:
Star Cup: Successfully complete the Flower Cup with a trophy. 
Special Cup: Successfully complete the Star Cup with a trophy. 
Leaf Cup: Successfully complete the Banana Cup with a trophy. 
Lightning Cup: Successfully complete the Leaf Cup with a trophy. 

Bonus characters:
 
Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding character:
Baby Daisy: Get a "One Star" rank or better in all 50cc cups.

Alternately, have a saved game file from Super Mario Galaxy and win a number 
of races. 
Toadette: Play on all 32 courses in Time Trials mode. Alternately, get 1,000 
Wi-Fi wins.

  Bubble Bike (small): Win the Mirror Leaf Cup. 
  Dolphin Dasher (medium): Win the Mirror Star Cup. 
  Magikruiser (small): Play on eight different courses in Time Trials mode. 
  Nitrocycle (medium): Get a "One Star" rank or better in all 100cc Wii Grand 
  Prix Cups. 
  Phantom (large): Win the Mirror Special Cup.

Expert ghosts:
 
Defeat a normal course ghost with a time at least seven seconds faster to unlock 
the expert ghost for that course.

Alternate title screen and ending sequence:
 
Get a "One Star" rank or better in all Cups, including those in Mirror mode to 
unlock an alternate title screen and ending sequence.

Special credits:
 
Win all trophies in a class to view the credits and see a congratulations screen 
featuring your Mii with Mario and Peach. Win all Grand Prix Cups to get another 
congratulations screen featuring your Mii with all the racers.

Quick start:
 
When the countdown starts, wait until the "2" begins to disappear, then hold 2 
to get a boost at the start of the race.

Quick recovery:
 
When you fall into an obstacle, press 2 precisely when you land to get a 
temporary boost.


complete crumble volcano under 1 minute:


Manuel needed. When you start turn around and go straight of the course under a ramp. 
When you get back on course, you should be just behind a ramp. Go up to it (not over) 
and turn to your left. There should be a volcano with a question mark on it. Face that 
and click 1 then 2 (keep hold to boost comes up)and shoot to it. Go round it 3 times. 
If your wondering why it's not working, stay on the outside not the inside, and don't 
fall off!!!


When a pow comes up:


If someone uses the power 'POW' then on the last pow, jump up in the air than you will not 
be able to stop driving, you will go ahead still. (not to know I use it as well)

New Cups:


When you beat a cup (not mushroom, shell, special, or lightning)you unlock a new one.


Dodge a POW:


-There will be two "boom" sounds before the actual POW. When the second "boom" occurs, start shaking 
your wii remote and don't stop until you see blue circles appear underneath you.
-You need to be drifting manually to do this dodge of a POW. When the actual POW occurs, hit the B button.
If you succeed, blue circles will appear instead of blue lines. You may still lose a bit of control, 
But you will NOT slow down.
